IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTE; 

some lava lamps do not work well with 130 volt long life bulbs, and we usually have them at our eBay store,

but SOME

need a 120 volt bulb like this one;

as the 130 volt burn cooler and may not make the lava bubble up right

130 volt bulbs withstand surges better, but on a standard 120 volt circuit, it will burn 12% less wattage, and therefore will not burn as hot, which may affect lava lamp performance. Incandescent lamps emit 3.4 B.T.U. s of heat per watt, and the amount of heat is important in this application. This bulb is a long life bulb, and will burn a long time and do a better job, especially in areas where you may experience "brownouts"
